Two brothers died from electrocution at village Anand Nagar village of Rupsa upazila in Khulna on early Tuesday.

The ill-fated siblings were identified as Modasser Sheikh, 12, and Iqbal Sheikh, 14, sons of late Sarowar Sheikh of the village.

Officer-in-charge of Rupsa Police Station Shaheen said that there was a vegetable field near the victims’ house.

They came in contact with the live electric wire while crossing the vegetable field at about 12:00am and died on the spot, added the OC.
